I am a patient, diligent, and creative tutor with five years of experience. Having scored 5’s on the AP Language, Literature, and US History tests— in addition to being a straight A student at UCSB— I am confident that I have the skill set necessary to help elementary-college students succeed.

I love writing and literature, and I approach lessons with genuine enthusiasm. My lessons encourage students to explore ideas with creativity and divergent thinking.
Features:
-Discussion-based thesis development for essays (How can we make this idea deeper or more unique?)
-Studying literary devices, rhetoric, their application to develop strong writing and analysis skills. (How does the author use juxtaposition to prove his point? How can we use this device in our own essay?)
