About Alice
I am a fourth year medical student at the University of Exeter. I am hoping to pursue a career in surgery whilst working as a senior lecturer.
I have a passion for teaching and have experienced what it is like to have a great teacher. I learnt early on that I was a visual learner, which made revising a lot more interesting and allowed me to work smarter opposed to harder and I would like to share this knowledge with others allowing them to reach their full potential.
When I am not in the hospital I spend my time running, cycling, weight training, trampolining, spending time with family and friends and reading fictional books.

I have completed a teaching project as a part of my degree, looking at the different pedagogical approaches. I teach by working through exam questions with the students, allowing me to see what areas we could work on together.
When going over concepts I often turn it into a picture for example translation and transcription in Biology as I often find this easier to remember opposed to paragraphs of text.
However I am aware this will not work for everyone, therefore I adapt my teaching approaches using my knowledge of the teaching pedagogies.
A typical lesson will be 1 hour long.
I am going into my final year of medical school,I have tutored GCSE Chemistry and KS2 English and Maths. I have also provided teaches on medical topics at university.
My lessons will be for KS2, GCSE and A-level students.
