About Elisabeth
I'm currently studying on the Mmus course at the Royal Northern College of Music, having graduated with a 2.1 from the University of York in 2019. I'm a friendly person with experience teaching and leading classroom workshops from nursery aged all the way to care homes! I teach all ages from beginner to advanced, including any preparation for examinations - ABRSM grades or equivalent. If you are learning music theory, I can tutor ABRSM grades 1 - 5. I specialise in trumpet, although I also have experience teaching cello and am able to teach up to Grade 6.

First of all and most importantly, I feel that learning music should always be fun! Therefore I'll always endeavour to make lessons as enjoyable and involved as possible. I also understand what it takes to perform under pressure and the direct benefits performance can have on someones confidence, which is an incredibly important life skill. I try to emphasise the importance of building up a solid technique right from the beginning as this will undoubtedly create a life long enjoyment of music.
