About Adelyn
I am an experienced writer with a passion for understanding literature and guiding others to do so. I am a sophomore in high school, yet my English test scores have been far above average (in the ninety-ninth percentile) since a very young age. I've written numerous short stories and won prose competitions. I believe anyone is capable of learning and understanding English formatting and literature, and I put emphasis on development over statistics.

I tutor English lessons for middle-high school. This includes subjects such as grammar, vocab, reading, spelling, and literacy. I like to approach lessons with a straightforward attitude, diving right into topics students struggle with and seeing how I can help them better understand. It's important to me that students learn at a pace comfortable for them, I will take their base skills and develop lesson plans based on what each student is capable of. As someone with family members who struggle with learning disabilities (ie. dyslexia) I understand the importance of adjusting lessons depending on each student's needs, while still helping them learn complex subjects on par with their peers.
