About Marie-Hélène
I love teaching French as a language rooted in culture and imagination. I love teaching French through the study of Art History, Cinema, Anime, Graphic Novels, Literature, Mythology, Music, fables, Fashion, culinary arts... I also love teaching Creative Writing, helping writers to find their voice. I am an artist and writer, published in French and in English, based in Vancouver, Canada. My art practice is multidisciplinary and supported by The Canada Council for The Arts. I have a BA and BFA in visual arts and I am currently enrolled in a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing and Theater.
