About Harry
Hi, I'm Harry and I study French and Spanish at the University of Cambridge. Languages have always been a passion for me and I love being able to go abroad and speak with locals in their native languages. As someone who loves to read, I find language an essential tool in accessing literary works in their original language. I hope to spread this passion through my teaching as languages really are one of the most useful skills in today's world.

My lessons will be fun, varied and engaging! Each lesson will last an hour and will be personally tailored to the student themselves. Exercises will range from reading and listening activities, translation and writing work, and speaking practice. If a certain area (whether it's a skill or something more specific like a grammar point or vocab work) needs some more work then that would become more of a focus in certain lessons. Assisting teaching in GCSE classes during my time in sixth form and helping in primary school has already given me a range of experience teaching different people. My lessons are for A level, GCSE, Y9, Y8 and Y7, as well as beginners/intermediates who want to learn the language for fun! I can also offer lessons on French literature, whether just introductory lessons or lessons to help with A Level study of literature/film.
