About Eva

Bonjour! My name is Eva, I'm French and I am passionate about teaching languages. I am currently completing a Master’s in Language Teaching. Over the past few years, I have taught French and English to students of different ages and backgrounds, both in Canada and abroad. Teaching is more than just my job — it’s something I truly enjoy. I love helping students gain confidence in French, whether it’s for studies, work, travel, or personal goals. About the lesson

I believe that learning a language should be interactive, engaging, and adapted to each student’s needs. I use a communicative approach, which means we focus on real-life situations, conversations, and practical usage of French. I integrate a variety of resources such as videos, songs, articles, and role plays to make lessons dynamic and enjoyable. Each lesson starts with a short warm-up activity (review of vocabulary or a mini conversation) to get you speaking right away. Then, we move on to the main objective of the lesson (e.g., grammar point, vocabulary theme, or communication skill). I combine explanations with practice through interactive exercises. We always finish with a speaking activity where you apply what you learned in a real-life context. I adapt my lessons to each student’s goals—whether you want to improve conversational skills, prepare for an exam, or use French in a professional setting. My experience teaching different age groups (children, teenagers, and adults) in France, Canada, and abroad has given me strong intercultural and pedagogical skills. Most importantly, I create a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and growing from them. My lessons are tailored for all levels: beginners, intermediate, and advanced learners.
