About Abhay
Bonjour! My name is Abhay and I come from a small town called Rishikesh in the northern part of India. After graduating high school, I chose to pursue my bachelor's degree in French language from Goa University which was one of the best decisions I have ever made.
In my last semester of college, I was asked by Alliance Française in Panjim, Goa to be an online French teacher for them to which I agreed and it's been a year and half and I am still loving interacting with students, leading them forward in their French language journey.
Although my full time job is of a French language specialist in an MNC, it didn't stop me from teaching French in my free time because it has become more like a passion to me to help people tackle the hurdles they come across while learning French.
I am really excited and looking forward to teaching you to take your French to the next level

My classes are designed mostly for adults including people in their late teens.
Classes always begin with quick greetings in French and sometimes a little fun exercise too for warming up
A textbook called cosmopolite is used in class along with my personally created presentations. However, it is made sure that the focus stays on putting what we learn into practice so class activities are always a big part of it!
We cover all the essential skills: reading, writing, listening, speaking. But most importantly, I HEAVILY focus on phonetics which I believe is something that a lot of teachers who teach French in India do not pay much attention to.
So my aim is to always make sure that students speak as authentic French as possible.
