About Ava
I have seen everything from the French to the American system!
In short, after finishing high school in France with a specialization (with a 100% score!) in history, geography, geopolitics, and political science (and maths ahah), I decided to pursue my dream and leave France for California where I currently study political science as well as business!
I have experience in bilingual private tutoring in many parts of France as well as in America.

Hi!
My name is Ava and I am a French and history tutor!
As a Frenchie pursuing a bachelor in political science at UC Berkeley, I have been tutoring for five years and I believe that my teaching methods are tailored depending on each kid's needs/level.
I am a very understanding and nice tutor who also knows how to achieve goals and make my students the best in their classes!
The first lesson is always free and will usually start with a little icebreaker as well as getting to know more about the student's educational background. Finally, that first class would end by setting a detailed list of goals for our lessons so that I could deliver a timeline as soon as the second lesson begins!
