About Alexa
My fascination with French began with an interest in language, literature, and culture. I earned a B.A. in French Studies, focusing on grammar, literature, and linguistic skills. Over the past 7 years, I have taught students of varying levels, emphasizing comprehension, conversational ability, and cultural understanding. I teach with patience, clarity, and adaptability. Lessons integrate structured practice, interactive exercises, and cultural context to enhance learning. I encourage exploration, experimentation, and independent usage of language to deepen fluency and confidence. Outside teaching, I engage with French literature, media, and cultural studies to enrich lessons. Witnessing students progress from tentative beginners to confident speakers capable of expressing ideas clearly is profoundly rewarding. My mission is to cultivate both linguistic mastery and cultural appreciation, equipping learners with skills that extend beyond the classroom.

Intermediate learners study conversational fluency, grammar expansion, and reading comprehension. Advanced students focus on advanced conversation, literature analysis, and exam preparation.
