French native, qualified and experienced teacher provides effective and enjoyable online lessons

Catherine has really supported me in having a better understanding of the French language and to speak more competently. She has always reassured and answered my questions. It has been invaluable to talk with her about living in France. I enjoy her lessons and feel motivated to do the prework she suggests based on my learning needs.

Catherine is a great teacher and I really recommend her. She takes the trouble to prepare the lessons not only specifically for my level of French but also for my interests which really helps me engage with the learning process. I have been learning with Catherine for 3 months now and don't think I would have made as much progress with any other teacher.

Catherine is very professional and an inspiring teacher. She is teaching my 10 year old daughter for almost 3 months now and the progress is phenomenal. Most of the time Catherine speaks in French which, in my opinion, is very engaging for the student. As part of the lesson, Catherine incorporates information about French culture, French locations or historic events which I think is rather interesting and makes the learning of the language more appealing.

I chose Catherine to teach me for two reasons: She is a native speaker of French who is also bilingual and she is also a qualified and experienced teacher. I have not been disappointed: Catherine is always very well prepared, can explain grammar points in a very comprehensible way and focusses entirely on the needs of the student. I highly recommend Catherine as a teacher if you are looking to improve your French.

Excellent tutor - helped me to get an A* in my French GCSE. Very helpful and patient and great with explaining grammar and more complicated French idioms and expressions. Overall I would highly recommend Catherine to anyone looking to improve their French.

Catherine really helped me throughout my A level in French working on both the grammar and the literature and film part of my examination. She was very friendly and open helping me settle into the lessons. She is also an examiner for exams meaning she also knows what the exam boards are looking for, helping you to shape your answers.
