About Sonia
Hello to you, my future student!
My name is Sonia, I'm 20 years old and I'm a student. During my Bachelor's at Sciences Po Paris, I did an exchange year in 2022/ 2023 at King's College London. As I move around a lot during my studies, my classes are mainly online!
I have just discovered this platform and I am registering, hoping to find students who want to master this beautiful language that is my mother tongue.
I have a long experience in tutoring which started when I was still in high school. I first helped native speakers in secondary school to improve their knowledge of the French language, before turning to foreigners who were learning French. I can easily adapt to your needs so don't hesitate to ask me!

I like to adapt to the student and his/her needs. This is why I need to know the axis of progression he/she needs (speaking, listening, writing, grammar, reading, accent correction...).
During a one-hour lesson, I take 5-10 minutes, in the beginning, to have the student talk about his week, his day, a significant event, what's on the news ... Then, I propose support according to his needs (textual, visual, audio ...) and we work on it.
At the student's request, I can complete my lessons with additional elements concerning French culture, and its history ... We can work on it so that the student becomes fully immersed in the French language.
Regarding my professional experience, I taught French as a foreign language at a French charity helping refugees in 2022. I have also been a French tutor for secondary school students in France. I helped them prepare for the national exam closing the cycle.
I am used to having students at B1 level and above, of all ages. Of course, I can adapt to all levels!
