In the short time that Julie worked with my daughter she instilled a confidence that we had never seen before in the subject. My daughter is half French, comprehension was never an issue but grammar was holding her back from taking the higher GSCE paper until Julie arrived. Julie was my personal French tutor during 2016. I had regular one to one tuition at my companies offices in London.

Julie is an excellent tutor. I had French conversation lessons with her for over two years. Each week we discussed different topics, covering a wide variety of subject areas, from literature to politics. This was brilliant for improving my vocabulary. She was always very well-prepared and we used a range of interesting articles, radio programmes and news reports to stimulate discussion.

She is extremely supportive, friendly, reliable and enthusiastic. My french has improved hugely as a result of my lessons with her.

Julie helped my son out with his French GCSE when he needed help with his written composition and oral examination. Julie was a punctual and reliable teacher who was patient and caring. Although we only had 3 sessions my son's pronunciation improved dramatically and the standard of his essay improved. He narrowly missed an A in his GCSE but this was still a good result for him.

I have had weekly French language tuition with Julie over a long period. This has covered discussion, reading, grammar revision and writing skills. Julie is an excellent teacher, she goes to great lengths to understand the reasons for you wanting to study, your desired outcomes and particular interests, in order that she can tailor the lessons to provide maximum benefit. She is always punctual and has an excellent manner. I would not hesitate to recommend her at the highest level.

I have a good base level of French and Julie was able to help me focus in on the areas I needed to improve on the most. I think she is wonderful for all levels of French as she finds a programme that suits your learning objectives. Also she is very nice, reliable, fun to work with and overall is a great tutor!

Julie was my tutor once a week for almost 3 years. Starting as almost a complete beginner, against the odds she diligently and patiently built up my vocabulary, grammar, and general conversational French to a standard where I now feel confident speaking in French when travelling there, and in many situations. Julie is an extremely patient teacher; an attribute that was tested to the extreme by my a slow learner such as myself! She gives clear instructions, her approach is easy to follow; I always felt at ease and comfortable by her relaxed, friendly manner - all attributes I found extremely helpful in a learning environment.
