About Sel
Hello! My name is Selen. I am a French native speaker currently living in Australia, holding a Master’s degree in Law. Growing up in a rich multicultural background as a French national of Turkish origin, I have a deep appreciation for languages and diversity. Patient, enthusiastic, and rigorous, I love working with children and helping them discover French through a gentle, creative, and joyful approach.

My lessons are designed to be a positive and engaging experience where children actually look forward to learning French! Because every child is different, I tailor each session to their age, personality, and energy level.
Step 1: Warm-up & Chat
We start gently by saying hello in French, talking about our day, or playing a quick warm-up game to switch the brain into « French mode ».
Step 2: Playful Learning & Interactive Activities
This is the core of the lesson! No boring grammar drills. Instead, we learn through:
Games & puzzles: Word games, memory matching, or board games in French.
Stories & books: Reading colorful children's books to build vocabulary naturally.
Creative tasks: Drawing, guessing games, or singing songs to practice pronunciation without stress.
Step 3: Wrap-up & Positive Reinforcement
We review what we discovered today through a fun little recap game, and the child leaves with a big smile and a sense of accomplishment.
