About Keelin
Hi! I'm a dedicated and enthusiastic H1 LC French student who earned a Distinction in the Junior Cert. I've always loved the language, and I know from experience how challenging it can sometimes feel — but also how rewarding it is when things start to click. That’s why I want to teach: to help students feel more confident, less overwhelmed, and actually enjoy learning French. I know what works because I’ve been through the same exams, and I’m excited to share clear, practical tips that really make a difference. I’m a passionate and high-achieving French student offering Junior Cert French grinds. I am a H1 in Leaving Cert French student and earned a Distinction in my own Junior Cert, so I know exactly what it takes to succeed at this level. I focus on making grammar and vocabulary easy to understand, while helping students build confidence in their writing, reading, listening, and speaking skills. Whether your goal is to pass comfortably or aim for top marks, I’ll tailor each session to your needs and help you improve quickly.
My approach to private tutoring is friendly, supportive, and completely tailored to each student. I take time to understand where you're confident and where you might need extra help, then build lessons around your individual needs. I break down tricky grammar and vocabulary in simple ways, and I make sure every session is clear, encouraging, and productive. I also like to use past paper questions and exam tips to help students feel more prepared and less stressed. My goal is to boost not just your grades, but also your confidence in French.
