About Claire
Lover of the French language! I am retired with 30+ years of experience. I taught French for the University of Maryland in Turkey, language maintenance for French linguists at Ft. Hood, Central Texas College first year classes, public school Junior High classes Killeen and LeanderISD, and International Baccalaureate trained French teacher at Leander High School. A great accomplishment is having students fall in love with French and having much higher than national levels of student retention to upper level classes. Several students have continued their studies at the University level, serving in the Peace Corps, teaching and serving in the corporate world.

I believe in learning using a more natural approach. As a baby responds early by listening, then speaking, followed by reading and writing,I use this approach. To meet many learning styles, I use color coding, simple drawing, music, and total Physical Response to commands to develop vocabulary on the receptive level.

Webcam price shows $2 it should be $23.
I am willing to travel for small groups especially in a University setting but will ask for mileage fees to be paid at the current government rate.
