About Joseph-Emmanuel
I have been helping student in reaching their goals for the past 5 years without fail. Two of my students were absolutely reluctant to studying and mastering French: they even got out of school for months and that's when their parents brought me in to change that the course of that slippery slope. The results were beyond my own expectations: after two years of classes with me, they decided to pursue French literary studies in college.
My style is based on free flowing discussion with the student with grammatical and syntactical nota bene sprinkled with etymological anecdotes. Etymology is the key to master French and I am here ton give you the key that will make everything ten times easier for you.
That's my conception of a good teacher: giving you the tools that will make everything easy and enjoyable, even if you are reluctant or puzzled at first.

I managed to help a bevy of students from elementary school to college by catering to their needs (exam, personal achievement, language test, etc.) in sheer linguistic skills but also in French culture and history. Many of them even went beyond their set objectives.
After a French baccalaureate Summa Cum Laude in Nantes (France), I went on to study in the most prestigious "classe préparatoire aux grandes écoles" (CPGE) at Lycée Louis-le-Grand in Paris, a school that can boast the past presence of Molière, Victor Hugo, and more than a half of French presidents.
After that, I got admitted to three Master's degrees: Philosophy at Sorbonne, Political Theory at Sciences Po and Business Management at ESSEC. Endowed with a strong cultural and methodological knowledge, I vow myself to make you progress drastically as long as you are ready to put your mind to it.
To put numbers where my mouth is, I have been twice in the top 0.3% percentile of literary students nationwide.
