About Ivan
I mainly do one-on-one tutoring, with an emphasis on grammar, conjugation, and conversation. I grew up immersed in French culture, living in a French-speaking household, and spending my summers in Normandie. I contiuned my French education at University, obtaining a B.A. in French Literature from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

My teaching approach combines conversatio and the use of textbook material. Typically, I will bring a loose lesson plan , we will go over the material, look at examples from a textbook that I have photocopied, and then I will assign homework based on that material. for conversational French, we will spring from the lesson plan of that day to shape the particular conversation
