About Mike
I am a bilingual Public Administration professional, with French as my native language and an excellent command of the language. My background is rooted in literary studies, completed during my secondary and humanities education, which provided me with a strong foundation in written and spoken French.
In addition to my professional career, I am a writer and essayist. In 2020, I published my novel Zandalvard, la Cité-Refuge with Éditions du Net, an experience that reinforces my mastery of French and my ability to work with the language at a high level.
I teach in French and English, and my lessons are structured, serious, and focused on real communication. Students can expect a professional approach, clear explanations, and practical guidance to help them use French accurately and confidently in real-life situations.

I teach French to English speakers who want to speak fast and speak naturally, not spend months memorizing grammar rules they never use. My lessons are designed for students who are disappointed by language apps and YouTube tutorials — impersonal tools that don’t prepare you for real conversations.
My methodology is simple and demanding: learning through real-life situations. From the first lesson, you are placed in everyday conversational contexts and you learn by speaking, reacting, making mistakes, and correcting them in real time. Grammar is explained only when it is useful for communication.
I teach in French and English, and my lessons are aimed at native English speakers or students with a strong level of English, from motivated beginners to intermediate learners who want to unlock fluency. Each lesson is dynamic, practical, and focused on helping you use French confidently in real life.
