About Elizabeth
I've tutored students ages 6-14, and have been successful in rephrasing and reexplaining the topics in a way that resonates with them. I understand that a lot of us try to memorize content simply for a test, however material truly does build on what you learned before. Therefore, I make sure there's a solid basic foundation in the material before moving on to more complex topics.

I focus on not only teaching my students how to get to the correct answer, but why the method works and how it can be applied to similar problems. I target where the student is missing points or not understanding the concept and rely on consistency and repetition to ensure confidence!
