About Beccy
I have been working in creative education for 20 years. Originally delivering creative workshops to schools and other community organisations as a freelancer, before completing a PGCE in 2013 and completing my QTS year in 2014. I have been teaching in international and UK schools ever since. Late-diagnosed with ADHD, I now specialise in supporting students with similar needs; Sharing strategies and approaches to help them develop and succeed. I am also trained and experienced working with students for whom English is a second or other language. I'm well read, well travelled, a creative problem solver, and have infectious enthusiasm for learning.

Learning should be fun, but often secondary schools aren't! Many students struggle in a formal school setting, and prefer to learn at home. After more than 10 years working in UK secondary schools, I understand the challenge. But this doesn't mean that students should miss out. I specialise in tailoring learning to the needs of the student, blending English language and literature skills into tasks built around special interests.
