About Karina
I believe a good tutor doesn't just explain concepts but helps students discover what they're truly capable of.
I'm a dedicated and approachable tutor with personal teaching experience supporting students from Grades 1–7 and the IB Diploma Programme. Having worked with learners across different academic levels, I've developed an appreciation for the fact that every student thinks, understands, and progresses differently.
My academic interests span English, Hindi, Business Management, Geography, and Computer Science, with a particular focus on the IB curriculum, including Internal Assessments and Extended Essays.
What motivates me most about teaching is seeing students move from confusion to clarity and gradually become confident, independent learners.
I value patience, open communication, and building genuine connections with my students. I strive to create a comfortable environment where questions are encouraged, mistakes are part of learning, and progress is celebrated.
For me, teaching isn't simply about helping students achieve better grades; it's about helping them develop the confidence and skills to succeed independently.

No two students learn the same way, so why should they be taught the same way?
I believe effective teaching begins with understanding the student. Before starting regular lessons, I conduct an individual one-on-one session to understand each student's learning style, strengths, challenges, pace, and academic goals.** This helps me create a personalized learning experience rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach.
What I Teach:
Grades 1–10: All subjects, concept building, homework support, and exam preparation.
IB MYP: Subject-specific tutoring, assessments, and exam preparation.
IB Diploma Programme (DP): English A, Hindi, Business Management, Geography, and Computer Science.
IB Coursework: Internal Assessments (IAs), Business Management Extended Essays (EE), research guidance, structuring, and constructive feedback.
Hindi Language: Spoken Hindi, reading, writing, grammar, and conversational Hindi for beginners, international learners, and students.
How My Classes Work:
Each session is structured around the student's individual needs, combining clear explanations, interactive discussions, practical examples, and targeted practice. I regularly assess progress, address learning gaps, and adjust my teaching methods to ensure students are genuinely understanding concepts rather than simply memorizing information.
My focus goes beyond improving grades. I aim to develop independent thinking, confidence, problem-solving abilities, and effective study habits** that benefit students in the long run.
