About Alex

I’ve played piano for most of my life and I want to share the skills and knowledge I’ve accumulated. I can play by ear and whilst understanding the value of sheet music, I feel that learning with a hybrid approach will help create a well-rounded and flexible musician.

I believe in teaching both the theory and the aural aspects of piano. I will help students develop a good ear and an ability to understand the music as well as play it. From me you will learn the proper technique and I will tailor lessons to whatever is best for the student.
