About Algeraine
I am an aspiring educational psychologist with a genuine passion for education and learning. I have always loved reading and have a particular strength in spelling and written English. From school onwards, friends often trusted me to proofread and improve their essays, and I once helped a grade 12 student with her work while I was Grade 9. These experiences showed me how rewarding it is to help someone understand something, develop a skill and gain confidence. I hope to provide learners with the encouragement and support that can make a meaningful difference in their academic journey.

I believe every learner experiences reading and spelling differently, so I first take the time to understand where they are struggling and why. Rather than treating the whole skill as a weakness, I focus on identifying specific areas that may cause difficulty in processing and understanding. Lessons are then adapted to strengthen those areas through clear explanations, guided practice and engaging activities. I teach in English and can support Afrikaans speaking learners.
