Hello! My name is Robin, and I'm a TEFL-certified English teacher. I'm a friendly, patient and easy-going person, and I really enjoy helping people learn and become more confident in English. I am a friendly, patient and supportive TEFL-certified English teacher who believes that learning English should be enjoyable, comfortable and practical. My approach is student-centred, meaning I adapt each lesson to the learner's level, goals, interests and learning style. My lessons are interactive and focus on building confidence in real-life English communication. Depending on the student's needs, lessons can include conversational English, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, phonics, reading, listening and general communication skills. What makes me unique as a teacher is my warm and encouraging personality. I understand that students learn at different speeds, so I create a relaxed environment where they feel comfortable making mistakes and asking questions. I believe mistakes are a natural and important part of learning. A typical lesson with me begins with a friendly introduction or review of previous material. We then move into the main lesson through conversation, questions, example activities and guided practice. I provide gentle corrections and useful feedback throughout the lesson, while encouraging students to speak as much as possible. Lessons finish with a short review of what was learned and, when appropriate, suggestions for continued practice. My lessons are suitable for children, teenagers and adults who want to improve their English in a friendly and supportive environment. Whether you are a complete beginner, preparing for an exam, improving your pronunciation and phonics, developing conversational skills or simply looking to become more confident in English, I will work with you towards your individual goals. My goal is not to teach English, but to help every student feel more confident using it in everyday life.
