About Katie
I am a culture enthusiast who has traveled to Asia, South America, and Europe. I even engaged in Graduate studies at a London based university. I have found that learning in context makes for a strong basis of understanding. As a result, I really try to inspire a global perspective in students as they are learning a new language.

I am upbeat and encouraging. I use games, worksheets, videos, flash cards to help the student apply and retain more learning. My undergraduate degree is a Bachelor's of Fine Arts with an emphasis on Spanish Language and Culture. So I am interested in not only helping the students memorize and understand a language, but also in understanding and appreciating the beauty of Spanish culture. This leads to a greater degree of language retention and application.
