About Harrison

Hey! I’m Harrison and I’ve been playing the guitar for 14 years now! While I’m new to Superprof, I have been teaching from home and online for 4 years now! Alongside lessons I work with different artists, producers and function bands to help make a living from the instrument I love! I have a huge passion for teaching guitar! It’s so satisfying to see a total beginner find their own voice on the instrument. Along the journey students gain confidence as their ability grows.

About my musical journey:
- I first picked up the guitar when I was 10.

- Had guitar lessons from age 10-17

- I have studied and completed a diploma and degree in professional musicianship, at the BIMM Birmingham University, from 2018-2023.

About the lesson

If you or your child has always wanted to play the guitar, then now is the time to learn!

I welcome all ages and skill levels! Lessons are customised based on ability and music taste. I will help you to find your voice on the instrument!

Our first lesson will be FREE! This is an opportunity where we can be introduced, and I can understand your music goals.

I encourage students to buy an A4 see through paper pocket folder. This is to store any sheet music we have worked on from the lessons. I also think it’s a nice way to track progress, and a place where material can be easily accessed.

When lessons progress, I always offer my students the option to create their own songs. Wether it’s a full song or just an instrumental, I believe this is a great way to explore the creative side of the instrument!

Additionally for GCSE students:
I have previous experience with helping high school students enhance their music GCSE grade! One of my favourite teaching achievements is taking a previous student from a GCSE level 4 (C), to a level 8 (A*). If your child is considering GCSE music then I am more than willing to help!
