I spent two months in Ned’s upper intermediate class during which I learnt a lot. We could always ask him if we had vocabulary and pronunciation problems and usually he has a nice idea that can help us to keep the words in our minds. He is a kind, open-minded and funny person and I was always excited about what we could learn next time.

I can only say good things about Ned. He is really patient; if there is anything you don’t understand, he finds another way to explain it to you. If we are reading a text and there are many words we don’t know, he spends all the time we need to understand it. He is also a cheerful and dynamic person, therefore his lessons are not boring at all; they are highly practical, interactive and entertaining. I always looked forward to studying and learning more things.
My English has improved notably. I am currently studying C1 (Advanced) level. It was Ned who encouraged me to move to a higher level this year and I am very happy about it.

Ned could explain English grammar very clearly, even for students from other cultures where tenses are not comparative to English ones. He also had a great relationship with every student in our class. What was important for me is that he is an open-minded person. He is interested in other cultures and people from different countries so I always felt comfortable. I should also mention his good manners and great sense of humour. We worked so hard over one month that I made progress from beginning intermediate level to advanced.

Ned is an excellent tutor. His lessons were inspiring and well planned. He created some terrific timelines which my daughter found of great use. She looked forward to his lessons and really enjoyed them.
