About Sarah
I have a First Class Bachelors degree in English Literature and Philosophy. My most recent degree is a Masters degree in Global Migration from the University of Glasgow, for which I received a distinction and the postgraduate prize for subject.
Between my studies, I worked as an ESL teacher overseas for two years, teaching large classes and also developing tailored 1-to-1 tuition courses. Whilst working in China, my 1-to-1 students obtained a 100% GESE exam pass rate - wow!
Upon returning to the UK, I have taught ESL online alongside my studies. Now that I have concluded my second degree, I continue to work as a freelance ESL tutor alongside my charity work.
I have also recently undertaken training to help make delivering lessons online as dynamic as possible, and I can't wait to share what I've learned!

EVERY human has a love of language and literature because these are the things that connect us to other people and to the world around us. But, sometimes the way it's taught to us makes that hard to see and we fall out of love. That's what I'm here for - to help you fall in love with English again! Whether it's literature, language or ESL you need help with, together we will find a way to make the content relevant, exciting and accessible to you. I have worked with students aged 3-50, covering a huge variety of topics and challenges. Together, we laugh while we learn, building confidence in your skills and yourself.
