About Ashley
Hi, my name is Ashley. I have about 300 hours of one-to-one and small group/classroom teaching experience, mainly young children and businesspeople.
Learning Chinese language has never been more important as business, cultural and friendship opportunities become ever more valuable. I am here to serve that great need.
Being a British citizen, I am always fascinated with the cultural differences between China and the United Kingdom, and I believe the key to learn other cultures is through language. As such, I am dedicated to language teaching, as well as being an ambassador of Chinese culture. I am currently in the final stages of studying to become a professionally qualified teacher of Mandarin Chinese language at SOAS, University of London.
I am born and raised in China's capital city, Beijing. The Beijing Chinese accent is the official Mandarin Chinese language, so you will benefit from learning the best standards of Chinese dialectic tone and clarity from me.
As well as private classes, I often give to my local community by volunteering in a local primary school, since I really enjoy introducing Chinese language and culture.
