About Valentine
I want to teach French because I genuinely enjoy helping others connect with a new language and culture. As a native speaker who has lived in the UK for several years and worked in international environments, I understand how language can open doors — not just professionally, but personally and socially. Teaching gives me the chance to share not just grammar and vocabulary, but also the cultural richness and real-life use of the French language. I’ve seen how much of a difference the right support can make — whether it’s helping a student pass an exam, feel confident speaking in public, or finally understand that tricky bit of French pronunciation. Coming from a large family and having taught maths before, I’ve always been drawn to education. I’m patient, flexible, and love seeing learners grow. For me, teaching French isn’t just about rules — it’s about helping people feel comfortable, confident, and capable in expressing themselves. That’s what makes it rewarding.
