About Lesha

Hi, I’m Lesha! I’m currently studying Neuroscience at Keele University, and I really enjoy working with younger children and helping them develop their confidence and skills.

I have experience supporting my younger brother, sister and cousins with their learning, especially with reading, phonics, spelling, writing and understanding new topics. I’ve also completed my school work experience in primary schools, which gave me the opportunity to work around younger pupils and see how they learn and develop in a classroom environment.

I’m a patient, friendly and approachable person, and I always try to make children feel comfortable when they are learning. If they don’t understand something the first time, I’m happy to explain it in a different way and work through it with them.

I’m particularly interested in helping primary-school children because I enjoy making learning fun and seeing their confidence grow as they develop new skills.

Also there are certain prices that I have to set as a minimum on the website, but I am willing to negotiate on the pricing I can go as low as £8 lesson.

About the lesson

My lessons are friendly, relaxed and interactive, with a focus on helping children feel confident in their English. I adapt each lesson to the child’s individual needs and take time to explain things in a simple way if they are finding something difficult.

I can help with phonics, reading, writing and spelling, using activities such as reading together, practising sounds and words, comprehension questions, spelling activities and writing exercises. I like to make lessons enjoyable so that children stay interested while still developing their skills.

Lessons are suitable mainly for primary-school children aged around 5–11. I can offer 30–60 minute lessons depending on the child’s age and concentration.

I also offer a **free first 30-minute lesson**, where I can get to know the child, understand what they need help with and see how I can best support them.

I also speak Tamil, so I’m happy to communicate with Tamil-speaking families who may feel more comfortable discussing their child’s learning and progress in Tamil. I can also use Tamil when needed to help explain activities or instructions to a child, while continuing to develop their English skills.
