About Casper
I am a sixth form student predicted A*A*A, I am confident in teaching GCSE maths, English, science, computer science, and media studies. As well as this, I am confident in teaching fundamental skills to primary school children as I have lots of experience with children. I am also confident in teaching students with SEN as I am autistic and I believe I have an understanding of SEN, and I have enjoyed adapting tasks for students with SEN during my work experience. My goal isn't simply to help students pass an exam, it's to help them become more confident, independent and comfortable with learning by adapting lessons taking a student-led approach focusing on our child's strengths and learning style.

My sessions can include:
- Differentiated learning – adapting tasks and explanations to the student's ability.
- Scaffolding – breaking difficult topics into smaller, manageable steps.
- Repetition & reinforcement – revisiting key concepts until the student feels confident.
- Visual and practical learning – using examples, demonstrations and activities to make concepts easier to understand.
- Positive reinforcement – celebrating progress and building confidence rather than focusing solely on mistakes.
- Exam preparation – practising exam questions, understanding mark schemes and developing exam technique.
I have experience working with children and young people including:
- Year 4 work experience, supporting children with SEN and EAL.
- Football coaching, helping young people develop confidence, communication and teamwork.
- Volunteering with refugee children, teaching English and adapting tasks for students.
- Tutoring peers in GCSE English, including students who had previously struggled to pass their English GCSE.
- Young leading at cubs, teaching skills for life.
