About Ishita
Teaching biology for more than 11 years has given me the opportunity to share the wonders of the unseen with students. Armed with a BSc in Biomedical Science, I specialize in microbiology and immunology, using microscopy and virtual lab tours to make learning visual and dynamic. I enjoy showing the process of bacterial growth and explaining how viruses replicate inside host cells. My lessons also explore the immune system’s strategies for defending the body and the importance of disease prevention. Through visuals, real-world examples, and interactive discussions, I help students truly understand and remember what they learn. The microscopic world is fascinating, and I invite students to explore it with curiosity and excitement.

Teaching biology is about showing how small processes create big impacts. I focus on cell structure, molecular biology, genetics, and cellular processes with an emphasis on clear visualization.
Students see how each biological component works together, from organelles to entire systems. Pharmacist-in-Training and Spectroscopy Buff students benefit from my focus on detail and scientific accuracy.
We work through processes step by step, ensuring full comprehension before moving forward. Lessons also explore the role of biology in medicine, research, and technology.
By building understanding gradually, students gain both knowledge and confidence. Together, we explore biology not just as a subject, but as a living science.
