About Raveen

As a 1st grade teacher, I create a warm, encouraging learning environment where children feel safe, supported, and confident to try. I am patient, nurturing, and attentive to each child’s individual needs, knowing that early learners thrive when they feel seen and understood. I build strong relationships with my students, celebrate their progress, and use positive reinforcement to help them develop confidence, independence, and a love for learning. Families can trust that their child will be taught with care, respect, and high expectations in every lesson.

About the lesson

My lessons are grounded in research-based instruction that builds strong academic foundations. Reading lessons follow the Science of Reading approach, focusing on phonemic awareness, phonics, decoding, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension to help students become confident, independent readers. Math lessons emphasize base-ten understanding, number sense, place value, and problem-solving strategies, helping students truly understand how numbers work—not just memorize steps. Each lesson is engaging, structured, and tailored to your child’s learning needs and pace.
