About June
I was born and raised in Japan and I’m currently a university student in Sydney. Japanese is not only my native language, but also a big part of my culture and identity. I genuinely love the language, from the way it sounds and looks to the meanings, expressions, and little nuances that make it so unique.
I enjoy everything from traditional and polite Japanese to casual everyday language, slang, and the expressions people actually use in real life. I know there are many different reasons why people want to learn Japanese, whether it is for travel, study, work, culture, anime, or simply because they love the language.
I’d love to make learning Japanese feel fun, comfortable, and approachable, and help you learn the kind of Japanese that is useful and meaningful to you.
