About Sain

I am a Trinity Guildhall College graduate and experienced piano teacher with a passion for helping students develop confidence and enjoy making music. I taught at the International School of Music Australia, working with students aged 4 and above, from complete beginners to intermediate level, including providing AMEB exam preparation.

I understand that every student learns differently, so I tailor each lesson to their goals, experience, and learning style. Whether you're a child starting your musical journey or an adult learning piano as a hobby, I provide patient, supportive, and engaging lessons that will make learning enjoyable.

About the lesson

I start off with an introductory lesson to gauge your music interests, background and goals. I take the time to understand what you hope to achieve. This allows me to create a personalised learning plan for you. We will then work our way up to introducing music theory, note reading, and rhythm before we implement these practically at the piano. As you develop, we will focus on technique, musical expression, sight-reading, and repertoire suited to your level. A typical lesson includes a warm-up, review of previous material, introduction of new concepts, practical playing, and constructive feedback with clear goals for practice between lessons. My lessons are suitable for children, teenagers, and adults. Whether you are a complete beginner, returning to the piano after a break, learning for enjoyment, or preparing for examinations, I will guide you and help you achieve your musical goals.
