About Nathan
As an undergraduate student I worked as a private tutor for student athletes at my university where I tutored these students in chemistry and physics. I also tutored groups of my peers in undergraduate level physical chemistry. As a graduate student I worked as a teaching assistant for honors general chemistry courses for a full academic year where I led weekly discussion sessions with a group of students covering topics from the previous week's lectures, homework, and upcoming lab assignments.

I take a patient approach where I can observe the student's thought process and guide their understanding. This gives students the opportunity to try and understand the questions without me doing their thinking for them or giving them the solutions.
My typical plan is to start by going over the topics the student is struggling with to gauge their level of understanding and address any gaps. Then the student will work on questions with my guidance to apply what they've learned and solidify their understanding. This plan can be flexible to accommodate students' needs and I can provide lessons on the necessary math skills.
My lessons are intended for high school and undergraduate level students taking general chemistry and physical chemistry courses.
