About Katie
I have been teaching for 5 years. My first school in London where I taught at high school and college level. My second school in the North West, where I have been teaching at high school level.
My degree is in Philosophy, with religious studies. I studied my degree at UCLAN.
After my degree I did my PGCE at Liverpool Hope University.

I am a varied teacher, in a sense that I am able to teach lower ability classes and due to the nature of my personality, this does work well. I am also able to teach high ability, with currently teaching multiple set 1 and set 2 classes. I base my teaching style upon my pupils/classes to ensure they can and are accessing all information necessary for them to succeed. I am currently working around rosenshine's principles & the idea of recall and how important it is. Thus, incorporating this into my teaching with recall questions that will recall back to last years work etc.
