About Emma
I have always loved learning and the confidence it brings, and I have continued to learn as an adult. I am currently working towards a degree in Primary Education and find teaching to be my calling.
I am friendly and love making the children I work with laugh! Within the schools I have worked at, children feel very comfortable approaching me with concerns, be they academic or personal.
I my spare time I enjoy volunteering, reading (especially Tolkien) and horse riding.

I am an experienced Mathematics, Science and English tutor who absolutely loves to teach and see children experience the joy of learning. Most of my work has been with additional needs and with examination prep within UK primary schools.
Within my role, I have found that individualised approaches to learning and teaching have seen excellent results and it has been wonderful to watch the confidence of my students grow. I like to promote excellence, ambition and enjoyment in my sessions which use the KS1-KS4 National Curriculum.
