I am a student at university and can teach sewing while on my course. I can teach techniques including (but not limited to);
-Battique
-Pattern drafting
-Fitting
-Printing
-Dying
-Embroidery (machine and hand)
-Applique
-Weaving
With me you can learn to make items such as;
-Clothing
-Cushions
-Bags
-Quilts
I can help develop any project you have in mind, from coming up with a pattern and sourcing fabric to creation and completion. Since I have also completed GCSE and A-Level textiles I can assist with course work too.

About the lesson

I can offer classes to anyone, within any age range- it's never too late to learn a new skill.
Class structures will differ based on what you'd like to learn.
A beginner class (on machine) will cover: how to set up your machine, basic stitches, machine safety, and we will complete a small project of your choice- for example a bag, cushion or skirt.
A beginner class (by hand) will cover: stitches you can use, tips and tricks to make hand sewing easier, basic embroidery and we will complete a small project of your choice- for example, a bag, cushion or skirt.
An intermediate class (on machine) will cover: a project of your choice- for example a dress- cutting your fabric, following a pattern, inserting fastenings, and technique.
A technique class would cover: what the technique is, where it's used, and how to do it.
If you came to me with a specific request or project in mind we'd create a personalized class structure based on this.
I can teach both in person (with full PPE) at your location, and online via skype/zoom.
