About Yasmin
Hi!
I’m Yasmin, a fun and friendly English Literature and Language tutor based in the UK. I offer tutoring in English Literature and Language up to A-Level, including prose, poetry, reading comprehension and essay writing. I am also able to offer a full dissertation package which includes preparation techniques, planning, writing and editing. Lastly, I am a fluent native English speaker and offer conversational English Language lessons.
About me:
I attended grammar school in the south of England where I achieved 12 GCSEs all grades A*-B and then went on to achieve 3 A-levels, all A-B with an A in English Literature. I continued my studies at the University of Leicester where I studied Politics with a minor in Criminal Justice and achieved a First Class degree with Honours. Since then I have secured a place on the UK’s top graduate scheme, The Civil Service Fast Stream. I’m a chatty and friendly person, always approachable and a firm believer that there is no such thing as a silly question!

I offer worldwide academic tutoring from GCSE/A-Level English Language and Literature, to essay writing at graduate level or, outside of academia, for non-native English speakers. I provide bespoke sessions, created completely around your needs. I’d love to have a chat to figure out what would benefit you.
Standard lesson based English tutoring, from 11+ through to A-Level.
Writing development exercises, set ahead of the session and edited by me. We then spend the session working through the feedback and understanding how to improve.
Conversational English language sessions - improve your English through media analysis and conversation with me, a native and fluent English speaker. I can cover grammar, dialects, conversational language/small talk and specialist language for use in sectors such as Technology, IT, Business and Finance.
Dissertation packages - including everything from timeline development, proposals, planning, structure, review, editing and feedback.
I'm also more than happy to deliver a mix of the above session types. Please do reach out to me for a chat about what would suit your needs!
All sessions are delivered virtually according to your preference, be that Microsoft Teams, Google Meet or Zoom.
