About Alastair

I am an experienced guitarist, singer, and songwriter. In 2021 I composed, performed, and recorded an album called The Open Sky, which is available to stream. I believe that there are no wrong notes, they're all just steps in a journey towards expressing your unique self! About the lesson

These lessons are designed to help you develop the skills you need to play the songs you love! Each lesson will help you build your confidence, your technical ability, and your musical knowledge. Together we will create an individual program that will help you to progress on your guitar journey. In my lessons, I create a positive environment for self-expression by focusing on the joyful, life-giving properties of music. I feel that music can help to establish powerful connections between us, thereby enriching our lives. I always try to bring to my lessons an awareness that playing music can help us to let go of anxiety and tension if we can focus on the present moment and the music we are making in it.
