About Simran

Hello! I am Simran, a dedicated online educator passionate about helping primary school children discover the joy of learning Punjabi.
My Teaching Philosophy:
Teaching young minds (Classes 1–5) requires far more than just language knowledge—it demands immense patience, positive encouragement, and the ability to make lessons feel like an enjoyable conversation rather than a rigid chore.
What I Bring to the Table:
Kid-Centric Approach: I believe every child has a unique pace. I take time to understand each student's comfort level and never make them feel hesitant about asking doubts or making mistakes.
Confidence-Building: Instead of rote memorization, I help students truly understand the sounds, letters, and meaning, helping them speak and write independently.
Open Communication with Parents: I treat parents as learning partners, providing honest feedback and actionable tips on how to support their child's progress at home.
If you are looking for a supportive mentor who can build your child's academic foundation while making them genuinely love Punjabi, I would be delighted to work together!

About the lesson

Engaging, Step-by-Step Punjabi Learning for Young Learners (Grades 1 to 5)
Learning a regional language should never feel stressful for young kids. My classes are structured to make Punjabi easy, natural, and enjoyable through an interactive routine:
1. The 3-Step Learning Method:
Listen & Speak: Starting every lesson with short, everyday conversational phrases to build natural fluency and eliminate fear.
Recognize & Read: Step-by-step mastery of Gurmukhi letters (Painti Akhri), Muharni, and matras using pictures and flashcards.
Trace & Write: Clear guidelines on stroke order to develop neat handwriting and correct spelling habits early on.
2. School Syllabus & Academic Support:
Full support with school textbooks, poems (ਕਵਿਤਾਵਾਂ), chapter comprehension, and question-answers.
Regular short quizzes, engaging worksheets, and revision before school tests.
3. Safe, Encouraging Environment:
100% patient and child-friendly pace—no rushing or harsh corrections.
Weekly progress updates shared with parents to ensure complete transparency.
