About Natalie
Hi, I’m Natalie! I have been working with children since 2012, and teaching has always held a very special place in my heart. I love helping children discover that learning does not have to feel scary, frustrating or overwhelming. It can be fun, encouraging and something they can actually look forward to!
I’m TEFL qualified and have experience teaching and tutoring young learners in English, phonics, spelling and reading. Over the years, I’ve learnt that no two children learn in exactly the same way, so I take the time to get to know each student and adapt my lessons to suit them.
One of my favourite parts of tutoring is seeing a child’s confidence grow. That little moment when they finally understand something they have been struggling with and realise, “Wait, I can actually do this!” is exactly why I love teaching.
I aim to be the kind of tutor who is patient, kind and encouraging, while still helping my students make real progress. Mistakes are always welcome in my lessons because they are simply part of learning!

Details
My online tutoring sessions are R250 per hour.
Each lesson is personalised to suit the student’s individual needs, learning level and pace. Lessons may focus on English, phonics, spelling, reading, or a combination of these areas depending on where support is needed.
My aim is to make every session engaging, encouraging and worthwhile while helping students build both their skills and confidence.
