About Elishia
I don't believe in learning under stress/duress. Learning should be a positive and enlightening activity. It is not just about learning something to use in the future. It builds character. It teaches you about yourself. You find out how you learn best, how you can apply yourself, how to handle disappointment/achievement, etc. Everyone learns in different ways (visual, audio, combination, etc) and we will figure out a method that works for you.

Every child learns differently. I will use tools that resonates with the student: be it songs, abbreviations, repetitive practice, etc. What is important is concept. Once the student grasp the concept, he/she then can apply it to any situation instead of having to memorize it blindly. Memorizing may work wonders, but it will fail you when there is a change in question format/tricky questions. Lessons shall not be too long as it will have counter effect. Frequent quick and short revision is helpful. I do not mind students of any ages.
