About Nathan

Hi, I’m Nathan! I’m passionate about helping young learners build confidence and enjoy maths. I understand that every child is unique, and I take a patient, fun, and creative approach to teaching. My Approach to Tutoring: I focus on making learning fun, engaging, and stress-free for children aged 10 and under. My teaching style is creative and interactive, using games, stories, and hands-on activities to make maths enjoyable. Qualifications and Experience: While I don’t have formal training, I bring enthusiasm, creativity, and a passion for helping children learn. During my time in school, I noticed that traditional teaching assumes everyone learns the same way, but I’ve learned through trial and error that each child has their own unique learning style. I take the time to understand how each child learns best and tailor my teaching approach to fit their needs. Having received a C in maths, I also know how it feels to face challenges, and I can break concepts down into simple, relatable steps.
