I started my mental health and med-surg classes. i failed my first med surgery exam (61) and my 2 mental health exams (64 & 68) and once i reached out for help my grades boosted tremendously i was getting high 80-90’s. i ended with a 77 and an 80 in both classes! As long as you do what she tells you to do, you’ll get through , but more importantly, she teaches you how to believe in yourself and work hard in a way that actually pays off.

Words cannot describe how me and my daughter feel about the experience we had with Ms. Tekera she is someone that is passionate about her roles in the medical field and she doesn’t just tutor the subject but speaks life into her students current situations making sure they know they are capable of mastering anything. But most importantly they are good mentally. Like she shared with my daughter if your mental state is off nothing she does is going to matter. So knowing that is not about the money or just giving study tips but really about the well being of her students first and then she focuses on making sure they are ready to master whatever comes they way. As the deadline approached for my final exam she made sure to take extra time out of her day to meet with me and make sure I understood the content! She makes the concept relatable and easy to understand so that the next session we can review move on and start a new concept all over again!
