About Gabriella
Hi! My name is Gabriella, and I’m passionate about helping students gain confidence in their learning journey. I'm currently studying to become an optometrist and have a strong foundation in science, math, and healthcare-related topics. My experience as both a student and a tutor has shown me how powerful the right explanation, a little patience, and a lot of encouragement can be in helping someone truly understand a subject. I love finding creative, relatable ways to explain complex topics—whether it's using real-life analogies for statistics or breaking down anatomy step-by-step. Teaching gives me the opportunity to share that “aha!” moment with others, and it’s one of the most rewarding parts of it all. Outside of academics, I enjoy pilates, cycling, reading, and exploring new places. I also love connecting with people from all walks of life and creating a comfortable learning environment tailored to your unique needs and goals. I’m excited to support you in your educational journey and help you feel confident in your abilities—one step at a time!

Hi, I’m Gabriella! I create a warm, supportive environment where students feel confident and excited to learn. My approach blends visual, auditory, and hands-on techniques to match each student’s unique learning style. Each session includes a brief review, a clear and engaging introduction to new material, plenty of practice, and a quick recap to lock in understanding. I specialize in Math, Reading, and Writing for students in grades K–12. What sets my tutoring apart is the strong connection I build with students and the balance I strike between fun and focus—making progress feel empowering and rewarding. As an Optometry student and past tutor with a Bachelor's degree in Biology, I have a solid academic foundation in Human Anatomy & Physiology, Biochemistry, Neuroanatomy, and all levels of math up to Calculus I. These diverse teaching experiences have strengthened my ability to communicate clearly, adapt to different learning styles, and foster a positive, engaging learning environment for students of all ages.
