About Niamh
I am a graduate of the University of Galway with a BA in Irish with over 2 years experience tutoring Leaving Cert students. I have a genuine passion for the Irish language and enjoy promoting, teaching, and supporting others in their learning journey, tailoring my approach to suit each individual’s needs.
As Irish is not my first language, I fully understand the challenges that can come with learning it. That’s why I strive to create a positive, enjoyable, and encouraging learning environment for all my students, helping them build both confidence and fluency.

I offer one-to-one Irish grinds tailored to each student’s individual needs, with the aim of improving their overall standard of Irish. Lessons are shaped around the student’s areas of difficulty and personal interests to ensure a more engaging and effective learning experience.
A strong focus is placed on both oral and written fluency, with particular emphasis on preparation for the Leaving Certificate exam. My goal is to help students build confidence and excel in all aspects of the subject.
Lessons are available Monday to Saturday, either in person or online, depending on what suits you best.
